For organizers

What is MJX Events?

MJX Events is an event ticketing and QR check-in app for organizers in India. Create your event, sell passes online with UPI and cards, print QR tickets for shops and agents, and check guests in at the gate from any phone.

How do I sell event tickets online in India?

Sign up on MJX Events, create your event with its ticket types and prices, add your bank details once and publish. You get an online ticket booking page to share on WhatsApp and social media. Buyers pay by UPI or card and receive a QR ticket, and the money is sent to your bank account.

Who is MJX Events for?

Event organizers, schools, colleges, clubs, societies and venues — anyone running concerts, college fests, garba and dandiya nights, workshops, sports days, conferences or community events.

How long does it take to create an event?

About 3 minutes: add the date, venue and ticket types with prices and seat limits, publish, and share the event link on WhatsApp or social media.

Can I sell printed tickets offline, through shops or agents?

Yes. Print QR tickets and give batches to sellers such as shops, agents or volunteers. Each seller marks sales in their own phone app, you see what each one has sold and collected, and unsold tickets are refused at the gate. You can also sell at the counter for cash, UPI or card. Printed tickets and counter sales are paid to you directly and carry no MJX fee.

Can I use QR tickets I already printed with another system?

Yes. Import the old QR codes by pasting, uploading a CSV or scanning them, and they work at the gate once each.

Can I sell couple passes and family passes?

Yes. Each ticket type has a “people per ticket” number: 2 for a couple, 4 or 5 for a family, up to 50 for a group. Online, each person gets their own QR. A printed pass is one piece of paper and the gate counts each person in.

Can I sell passes for a multi-day event such as nine nights of Navratri garba?

Yes. A ticket type can be valid on one day, some days or every day of the event. The buyer keeps one QR, and it is admitted once on each of its days.

Can I create a free event with QR entry passes?

Yes. Make the ticket types free and set their seat limits. Guests book on the event page and each one gets a QR to scan at the gate. Free events carry no MJX fee.

Is there a mobile app for event ticketing?

Yes. The Android app is on Google Play, listed as MJX Toran - Event Ticketing, with organizer, seller and gate scanner roles in one app. Everything also works in the browser of any phone, so nobody has to install anything.

Can I show photos of my past events to buyers?

Yes. Under “Past event photos” add an album for each earlier event: paste a Google Drive folder link (share the folder as “Anyone with the link”; up to 200 photos show and nothing is copied) or upload up to 20 photos. The photos appear on your organizer page and on every one of your event pages, so buyers can see what to expect. You can also paste the link of a YouTube video, a Google Drive video or a Vimeo video into an album; it plays right on your page (buyers are not sent to YouTube) and nothing is copied. It is optional and included in every plan.

Pricing and payments

Is there a free plan?

Yes. The Free plan has no sign-up fee and needs no payment: up to 100 tickets per event, 1 event live at a time, with an MJX fee of 8% on online sales only. Free events, printed tickets and counter sales carry no MJX fee. Plus and Pro are yearly plans for organizers who sell more or want more tools.

How much does it cost to sell tickets on MJX Events?

It depends on your plan. Free: no sign-up fee, up to 100 tickets per event, 1 event live at a time, MJX fee 8%. Plus: ₹0 a year (incl. GST), unlimited tickets and events, MJX fee 0%. Pro: ₹9,999 a year, unlimited tickets and the Pro tools, MJX fee 1.5%. On online sales you also pay gateway charges of 0% (the payment gateway’s fee and its GST) and transfer charges of 0.35% for sending the money to your bank; the MJX fee has 18% GST on top. You can let buyers pay these fees instead. Printed tickets, counter sales and free events have no MJX fee.

How do organizers get paid for online ticket sales?

Buyers pay with UPI, cards or wallets. Each sale is split automatically and your share is sent to your bank account through Razorpay, so you don’t need a payment-gateway account of your own; the settlement timing follows the payment partner’s schedule. Money from printed tickets and counter sales is paid to you directly.

Do I need a payment gateway account to sell tickets online?

No. You add your bank details and PAN once under Get paid. Buyers pay through MJX’s payment partner and your share of each sale is sent to your bank account.

Is there a fee on tickets sold for cash at the counter?

No. Printed tickets and counter sales are paid to you directly and carry no MJX fee.

Which payment methods can buyers use?

UPI (including scanning a UPI QR), debit and credit cards, and wallets, through Razorpay’s secure checkout.

Are tickets refundable?

No. All purchases on MJX Events are final. If an event is cancelled or changed, the organizer is responsible and decides any remedy. See the Refund Policy.

Check-in at the gate

How does QR check-in at the gate work?

Send your gatekeeper a link on WhatsApp. They open it on any phone, enter the event PIN and scan. Each QR works once: green for valid, amber if already scanned, red if not valid.

Can several gates scan at the same time?

Yes. Use as many phones as you like. A ticket is admitted once only, even when two gates scan it at the same moment, and the check-in count updates live.

What if a QR code is damaged?

Every ticket has an 8-character code printed under the QR. Gate staff can type it in instead of scanning.

Can I scan tickets with an Android phone?

Yes. Install the Android app from Google Play (listed as MJX Toran - Event Ticketing) or open the gate link in the phone’s browser, enter the event PIN and point the camera at the QR. Green means valid, amber already scanned, red not valid. iPhones scan through the browser.

Do I need special scanners or hardware at the gate?

No. Any smartphone with a camera is the scanner, in the Android app or in the phone’s browser.

How do I stop fake or duplicate tickets at my event?

Every ticket has its own QR that is admitted once. A copy or a forwarded screenshot shows as already scanned, a printed ticket that was never sold shows as not sold, and a QR from outside your event shows as not valid.
